With a dynamic career spanning three decades, Kevin Connor is a Cutco Hall of Fame sales professional, entrepreneur, and business consultant whose journey with Cutco began in 1995. Today, he leads Edge Branding Solutions, a comprehensive marketing agency that integrates Cutco corporate gifting, promotional products, and digital marketing services to help business owners, real estate professionals, and fellow sales representatives reclaim their time and grow their brands.

Kevin’s extraordinary drive is deeply rooted in his earliest days. Born with a congenital limb difference affecting his right arm—a unique physical trait he embraces today with the welcoming, open smile of a seasoned relationship-builder—he learned early on that limitations are only what you make of them. Guided by his father’s unwavering motto, "Can't never did nothin'," and life-changing childhood surgery, Kevin forged an unbreakable resilience. This grit fueled his entrepreneurial spirit from a very young age, leading him to sell greeting cards door-to-door at just nine years old and allowing him to adapt seamlessly to frequent childhood moves across the country.

His professional sales journey started humbly with a sample kit and the sale of a single spatula spreader, quickly generating $1,000 in his first two weeks. Though his path saw him briefly explore other avenues—including a period of profound personal adversity in 1998 that he courageously overcame by securing a job at Camelot Music, an opportunity that ultimately guided him back to his Ohio roots—his relentless curiosity and work ethic always drew him back to business. Overcoming early obstacles, from a broken-down truck to the staggering attrition rates of direct sales, he steadily climbed the ranks to become an Assistant Manager in Akron, thriving under the early mentorship of industry leaders like Jeff Bry, Chris Heigel, Tom Rastrelli, Josh Mueller, and Marty Domitrovich.

As his career progressed, Kevin’s business acumen expanded far beyond direct sales. He managed a successful DJ business and, from 2013 to 2017, operated a thriving N2 Publishing franchise managing three community newsletters in Jackson Township. This venture proved to be a strategic masterclass in networking, rapidly expanding his local B2B relationships and cementing his transition from the high-pressure, transactional sales tactics of the 1990s to a deeply service-focused, relationship-building mindset. Recognizing that top professionals often lacked the time to nurture these vital connections, he founded Edge Branding Solutions to automate client retention and turn everyday buyers into "forever clients".

To date, Kevin is responsible for well over $2 million in career Cutco sales—encompassing both personal and office sales—and serves a robust, loyal client base of over 5,000 customers, including several hundred B2B clients and realtors.

Today Kevin lives in Canton Ohio with his Wife, Jenn, 3 of their 6 children, and two furbabies - GiGi and Thor. He is active in his church and community, as a member of 2 local Real Estate Associations and his local Chamber of Commerce.

Driven by a goal to double his impact and reach $4 million in career sales within the next five years, Kevin remains firmly grounded in a simple but powerful philosophy: relationships are the heart of business. He firmly believes that by working hard, putting people first, and prioritizing exceptional service, the sales will naturally take care of themselves.
